In yet another unique take on promoting No More Heroes 2 : Desperate Struggle, Rising Star has teamed up with fashionable label Chateau Roux. This deal means that anyone going into or even just passing through the store in Carnby Street, will be greeted by the main character wearing his trademark look from the game. The store will also have clothing inspired by the game which anyone can buy.
The director of Rising Star, Mr Martin Defries, had the following statement to make about it:
“It’s very rare to see a game which is genuinely cool,” says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games, “but No More Heroes 2 is as much a style icon as Carnaby Street. The only other Airport 51 is in Santa Destroy within the fictional No More Heroes universe. That one may be quite difficult to pick up a new t-shirt from, so we’re hoping fans take a look at the store we’ve set up in London”.
So if anyone feels like checking out a real life Airport 51 clothing store, then do so quick as it will run between the Friday 28th May – Friday 4th June. The store is located in Carnaby St and the address is Chateau Roux, 17 Newburgh St, London W1F 7RZ.
No more Heroes 2 : Desperate Struggle is out today for the Nintendo Wii.
