CAPCOM brings the Ace Attorney series to the Wii

In a move which will surely attract even more fans to the series, it has been revealed that the 1st three titles will be coming to Wiiware.With a price tag of 1000 points for each game, there is no excuse to give them a try. The series was such a hit on the DS that copies of the 1st game are considered to be rare nowadays. (more…)

Bayonetta demo coming worldwide before Christmas

The demo for what must be a contender for game of the year will be available to download soon on PS3/xbox 360 systems. It has been out in Japan since October but players had a chance to play it in events like MCM and Eurogamer. (more…)

Bayonetta demo preview

The demo for Bayonetta could be a mini game in itself, which speaks volumes for its quality. It is composed of three sections which are: tutorial, Falling Tower and a section of the Train Station level. This is a game from the people that brought us such classics as Okami, Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe so only the best could come out of Bayonetta.

Just Cause 2 – An in depth walkthrough – Part 2

The 2nd part of the presentation revolved around the PS3 version which had a new mission on the build played. The missions was based on rescuing another informer, which is on the very last floor of a high Casino tower. In order to give it a twist, rather than go up floor by floor, players can take advantage of the grappling hook to scale the tower. After getting to the top the player will battle with an helicopter, which can be taken over. After this, there was a cut scene that explained some of the story, and also marked the completion of mission.

Just Cause 2 – An in depth walkthrough – Part 1

The walkthrough started off by our presenter stating that Rico had been given a redesign. This new Rico has looks more like an explorer, in comparison with the 1st game, and seems more adapted for tactical fighting. For those that thought the 1st game was huge, then get ready for the 2nd game as it is about 250 football pitches wide!

Ubisoft at MCM

This year Ubisoft had an even bigger presence in the MCM Expo with most of its Christmas line up on show. For the crowd it was a unique opportunity to try the much anticipated sequel to Assassin’s Creed 2. The demo build available included the missions previously discussed in a preview on the site. It demonstrated a lot of the new features and the crowd seemed to be very impressed with it.

Eurogamer Expo : London

Eurogamer 09 No Comments »

The Eurogamer Expo has gone on to be a runaway success since it it first started last year in 2008. This year it has gone on to two different locations based in Leeds and London. The venue chosen for the London location was about double of the one used previously. It lay just next to the Thames with a full view of such landscapes as the Tower Bridge and the Gherkin.
