The Assassin’s Creed franchise has become such a popular hit, that the next logical step would be its entry, into the movie industry. While at the premiere of Assassin’s Creed Lineage three Ubisoft staff members were there to take us behind the scenes. It is always a pleasure to see how something so technologically advanced was created.The live actors portraying their characters in a full green screen set, make up the filming set.The Assassin’s Creed Lineage movie introduces the story before the events in the game. It manages to clear up lots of questions, while also raising new ones.

With Assassin’s Creed Ubisoft created a strong new franchise, which relied on historical recreations, to a certain extent. The game follows the life of Desmond in the year 2012, as he is subjected to experimental ancestral memory reliving, with the Animus software. In the first game he relived the key moments in the life of his ancestor Altair. With the 2nd game a new ancestor in a Renaissance Italy called Ezio. This new game introduces some new ideas which range from small details to bigger changes in game play.

A new update has landed on xbox 360 last thursday which gives free new content for Virtua Tennis 2009. This makes it possible to hold online tournaments with up to 8 people in single or doubles. It also lets players pick from all the licensed players or created characters.  For a free update it sure seems like a generous offers from the team at Sumo Digital.

The update will use 4.26 mb of space and can be downloaded from the marketplace website here  or from the console under game add ons.

This week sees a bigger list of new games as publishers start releasing their big projects. There is definetly something for mostly everyone in the release list.

The Resident Evil series has been around for over a decade and was mainly responsible for the horror genre popularity in videogames. When the first Umbrella Chronicles game was announced it was hard to see it working as a rail shooter. Well it actually worked and a few years later here is tne 2nd chapter in the Chronicles series.
