Virtual On review

The Virtual on series has seen many titles since 1995 from the arcades right up to the latest PS2 title. This new game though is a version which was firs released on the Dreamcast along with the twing sticks it needed to recreate the arcade experience. The game’s concept is that a group of robots is up against another set of evil robots and so they must fight in arenas.

Let’s Tap Review

A rhythm game developed by a team led by one of the person’s responsible for creating Sonic was always going to be something unique. The new PROPE studios surprised everyone by announcing a game where all players did was tap a box with a wii remote on top of it. What would be most important is to know if this concept worked or if it was just full of random tapping.

It’s Sonic’s birthday tomorrow…

…and so this week shall be known as Sonic Week. For any of the readers out there each day will have something Sonic related to celebrate such special occasion. As of tomorrow Sonic has been running loops around everyone else for 18 years.

To kick off SEGA is having a huge prize giveaway courtesy of a certain MR Archangel that is organising it. For anyone interested:

Resident Evil 5 review

As one of the first games to truly start the survival horror game genre many years ago Resident Evil has many fans. With the latest game CAPCOM wanted to introduce a new concept by means of a co op partner. The African setting also means it would mostly be in daylight, making for a challenge, in terms of how to offer a frightening experience.

Bionic Commando review

It took a long while to have a new Bionic Commando game but after working on the remake of original game GRIN did just that. The new entry in the series comes with a twist in that it makes Bionics criminals. It also is the first time that one of the games has made it to the 3D realm.

Monster Hunters get a Gathering Hall!

The new Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP game is coming out this week and CAPCOM wants everyone playing it together. With that in mind a special safe area was created where anyone can turn up with a copy of the game and play with other monster hunters.
