The Xbox arcade game which helps bridge the 1st and 2nd “Dead Rising” games, had extraordinaire first week Xbox arcade sale figures. It managed to break the previous sales number for the first week on sale. With “Case Zero” players are able to get a taste of what is to come in “Dead Rising 2″. For only 400 points players are able to keep certain stats, such as a level cap of level 5 and some unlocked combo card, which will be used on “Dead Rising 2″. It also gives some back story to main character Chuck and his daughter Katey.

Dead Rising 2: CASE ZERO is now available exclusively to download on Xbox LIVE Arcade. Dead Rising 2 will launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 on September 24 and PC on September 28, 2010.

The cult “Harvest Moon” series from publisher Rising Star is getting another title with the release of Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest on the DS. Although similar to “Harvest Moon” , the game adds RPG elements to make it even more addictive. In this game players will take control of 2 generations starting with the father and then his son or daughter. In order to achieve it players can find a spouse with which to settle down.

The release of the upcoming “Batman : The Brave and the Bold flying” has been set to the 24th September 2010. It will feature a vast selection of characters from the Batman universe. There will also be interaction between the DS and Wii versions, which will unlock extra features.

The game will be released exclusively on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii.

In this week’s Deal of the Week players can strike gold with the “Resident Evil 5″ DLC sale. A new range of quirky DSiWare game named Go Series is being launched by GamesBridge in the next few months. The first two titles consist of “10 Second Run” and “Defence Wars” and the series will be published by Rising Star. With talented developers that have worked on titles such as F-Zero, Dragon Quest and Wario it means there will be plenty of surprises for all kinds of players.
