Back when the first “Dead Rising” game came out CAPCOM had another hit on their hands. The game has grown to be well known like the “Resident Evil” series ever since. With the 2nd game CAPCOM promised to make it even bigger than in the 1st game. Set in Fortune City, the game sees new lead Chuck Green take on hordes of zombies, while trying to save his young daughter.

The demo for Bayonetta could be a mini game in itself, which speaks volumes for its quality. It is composed of three sections which are: tutorial, Falling Tower and a section of the Train Station level. This is a game from the people that brought us such classics as Okami, Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe so only the best could come out of Bayonetta.

The characters in this title have a string of collective movies that they starred in. The idea behind this game follows that of the most recent movies. So both species are at a war where the poor human Marines end up getting involved in. The version shown at the Eurogamer Expo was purely multiplayer mode on the PS3.

With Assassin’s Creed Ubisoft created a strong new franchise, which relied on historical recreations, to a certain extent. The game follows the life of Desmond in the year 2012, as he is subjected to experimental ancestral memory reliving, with the Animus software. In the first game he relived the key moments in the life of his ancestor Altair. With the 2nd game a new ancestor in a Renaissance Italy called Ezio. This new game introduces some new ideas which range from small details to bigger changes in game play.

The Resident Evil series has been around for over a decade and was mainly responsible for the horror genre popularity in videogames. When the first Umbrella Chronicles game was announced it was hard to see it working as a rail shooter. Well it actually worked and a few years later here is tne 2nd chapter in the Chronicles series.

It seems that the wii has officially become the home for mini games since it was launched. However, a game like Let’s tap is always welcome due to its rather unusual concept. The game works by simply tapping a box with the wii remote on top of it. It will translate different taps into either 2 inputs used throughout many of the mini games available. A brave idea and one which has paid off as it certainly proves to have addictive game play.

Based on how popular tennis games proved to be for the Wii, it was only a matter of time, before Virtua Tennis made its mark. With motion technology evolving further with the motion plus accessory it would greatly benefit future tennis games. With that in mind it was fortunate that Virtua Tennis was able to harness this technology.

I never had the chance to shake those maracas in the original dreamcats game so I jumped at the chance of doing it on this new Wii version. While brief my time with the game was definetly something I never experienced before in rhythm based videogames.
